Description
Kulala Wilderness Camp is located on the private 37 000-hectare Kulala Wilderness Reserve. Nestled between mountains and overlooking a rugged valley below, this camp is a tranquil haven amidst a beautiful, yet unforgiving environment. From here you can visit the iconic Sossusvlei and explore its surroundings that harbour a surprising amount of life. Sossusvlei is situated within Africa’s largest conservation area, the Namib Naukluft Park, which is also home to the world’s oldest desert – the Namib. Atop this vast arid landscape lie what some consider to be the world’s largest sand dunes. The highest of these rust-red sand mountains rises nearly 300 metres above the valley floor.
